Scheduled to premiere on June 26, SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama Agent Kim Reactivated (written by Nam Dae-jung, directed by Lee Seung-young and Lee So-eun) is based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name. It is a "Dad Universe" revenge action drama about "the most ordinary" father who becomes "the most dangerous" man in the world to rescue his only daughter. The series brings together writer Nam Dae-jung, known for the hit films Love Reset and The Last Ride, with director Lee Seung-young of Wonderful World and Voice 2, and the fresh, passionate director Lee So-eun.
On May 27, the production team released the first stills of Choi Dae-hoon in his role as Seong Han-soo, a former national gold medalist who now runs a local Taekwondo gym.
Seong Han-soo, played by Choi Dae-hoon, was once a legendary Taekwondo star representing South Korea and a secret agent. Now, he is the warm and doting director of the "White Taekwondo" gym, teaching local children. In the newly released stills, Seong Han-soo is seen wearing a white Taekwondo uniform, guiding his young disciples with a serious yet gentle expression.
In contrast, a past photo hanging on the gym wall captures him waving the South Korean flag with an emotional face, basking in the glory of his gold medal, which instantly catches the eye. Once dubbed an "out-of-the-box powerhouse" due to his overwhelming talent, curiosity is rising over how he will reawaken his long-dormant "martial artist DNA" after crossing paths with the protagonist, Manager Kim (played by So Ji-sub).
Last year, Choi Dae-hoon received immense love from viewers for his role as Bu Sang-gil, also known as "Uncle Hak-ssi," in the Netflix series When Life Gives You Tangerines. Having recently starred in the Netflix series The WONDERfools as Son Kyung-hoon, a troublemaker who accidentally acquires sticky superpowers, Choi Dae-hoon is gearing up for yet another dramatic transformation in Agent Kim Reactivated.
Choi Dae-hoon shared his excitement, saying, "I am incredibly thrilled and grateful to finally show viewers our filming set, which was genuinely filled with joy."
Defining his character Seong Han-soo with the playful phrase "sharp, prickly, yet soft-hearted," Choi Dae-hoon raised expectations for his multi-dimensional performance. He added, "Since all the staff and actors have worked tirelessly and run hard for this moment, we will wait for you with anticipation rather than worry. Please show a lot of interest and love for Agent Kim Reactivated."

Meanwhile, promising an exhilarating action catharsis with the addition of Choi Dae-hoon alongside So Ji-sub, Agent Kim Reactivated will premiere on Friday, June 26 at 9:50 PM KST, following the conclusion of the currently airing drama My Royal Nemesis.
