During the press conference for the new Netflix variety show 'Jae-seok's B&B Rules!' held at the JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul on the morning of the 19th, Ji Ye-eun stated, "Spending two nights and three days together, the phrase 'Yu Jae-seok is Yu Jae-seok' just came naturally to me."
'Jae-seok's B&B Rules!' is a large-scale group camping variety show where novice campsite manager Yu Jae-seok and his unpredictable staff members Lee Kwang-soo, Byeon Wooseok, and Ji Ye-eun live and play together with their guests. The show is highly anticipated as a new lodging variety program from the production team led by PD Jung Hyo-min, known for 'Hyori's Homestay' and 'Kian's Bizarre B&B', in collaboration with Netflix.
Yu Jae-seok and his staff created meaningful memories with guests over two separate 2-night, 3-day sessions. To safely manage the large group while ensuring they had a fun and healing experience, the four members of 'Jae-seok's B&B Rules!' worked tirelessly. As the 'novice campsite manager,' Yu Jae-seok took charge of everything, prioritizing the guests' safety and health while handling tasks ranging from deep cleaning and resolving complaints to grocery shopping and hosting recreational activities.
Ji Ye-eun, the youngest member and the only woman on the 'Jae-seok's B&B Rules!' team, discovered a different side of Yu Jae-seok compared to his persona on 'Running Man'. Ji Ye-eun confessed, "Yu Jae-seok sunbaenim is truly sincere. I found myself thinking, 'Was he always this warm of a person?' I didn't see the TV personality Yu Jae-seok, but the real human Yu Jae-seok. I only realized through 'Jae-seok's B&B Rules!' just how warm and affectionate he is. He has become my ideal type."
Lee Kwang-soo, who has worked with Yu Jae-seok on various variety shows, also explained the sincerity of campsite manager Yu Jae-seok, saying, "I often thought, 'Jae-seok hyung is really sincere about this camp.' Even after filming ended, he would keep talking about the camp and worry about whether the guests might have felt uncomfortable with anything, which made me realize, 'This hyung is truly sincere.'"
Byeon Wooseok also testified to Yu Jae-seok's leadership, stating, "Seeing Jae-seok hyung taking the lead and setting an example on-site motivated me to work even harder. We were all able to pull together and follow his lead effectively."
Yu Jae-seok credited the show's successful filming to his three staff members and the production crew. He said, "While there was excitement in spending two nights and three days with a large group of guests, I was also worried about the potential fatigue they might feel and the inevitable inconveniences of being away from home. I wanted them to only experience joy here, and Lee Kwang-soo, Byeon Wooseok, and Ji Ye-eun were a huge help in that regard. I don't think we could have done it without them." He also expressed his gratitude, adding, "The numerous production staff members worked even harder than we did."
'Jae-seok's B&B Rules!' will be released on Netflix over two weeks, with episodes 1–5 arriving on the 26th, followed by episodes 6–10 on June 2.
