The emotional resonance of the show musical is coming to the big screen as the film 'Dream High: Show Musical on Stage' is set to hit theaters on June 4.
'Dream High: Show Musical on Stage' is a live concert film that captures the performances unfolding on stage. It aims to deliver a unique sense of immersion to audiences by vividly conveying the heat of the venue and the energy of the actors.
The cast is also drawing significant attention. The lineup features SE7EN as Song Sam-dong, Lim Se-jun as Jason, Kang Seung-sik as Jin-gook, Seonye as Baek-hee, and Park Kyung-lim as the Principal, who complete the charm of the original characters and the dynamic stage energy unique to the show musical. Actors with diverse personalities and stage experience have maximized the strengths of the production, which combines K-Pop with dance performances.
In conjunction with the film's release, promotional activities linked to 'Musical Dream High Season 3 Reboot,' which opens in July, will also be held. 'Musical Dream High Season 3 Reboot' is scheduled to run starting July 18.
Shin Ye-ji, Vice President of the production company Wys en Scène, stated, "This project is significant in that it is the first attempt to organically link the promotion of a live concert film with a stage performance, and we expect that the film and the musical will create synergy by expanding each other's audiences."
