Group CORTIS has once again achieved 'double million-seller' status with their second mini-album.
According to Hanteo Chart, an album sales tracking site, on the 8th, the second mini-album 'GREENGREEN' by CORTIS recorded a total of 2,027,032 copies sold as of the 7th, just four days after its release. Following their debut album, CORTIS has achieved double million-seller status with two consecutive albums, demonstrating a presence that transcends that of a rookie group.
Notably, this new release has overwhelmingly surpassed the growth pace of their previous work. Their first mini-album, released in September of last year, took approximately three months to surpass 1 million cumulative sales and about six months to reach 2 million. In contrast, the second mini-album became a million-seller in just one day after its release and surpassed 2 million copies in only four days. First-week sales are also projected to increase by at least five times compared to the 436,367 copies of their first mini-album.
Their digital music performance is also showing a steep upward trend. As of 9:00 AM on the 8th, the title track 'REDRED' reached No. 3 on the Melon 'Top 100' chart. It has been maintaining a high ranking since hitting its personal best of No. 3 at 11:00 PM on the 6th.
CORTIS will continue their active promotions. They are scheduled to appear on KBS2's 'Music Bank' on the 8th, MBC's 'Show! Music Core' on the 9th, and SBS's 'INKIGAYO' on the 10th to perform their title track 'REDRED', and they will also unveil the performance for the B-side track 'TNT'. They will also meet fans by taking the stage at 'KCON JAPAN 2026' on the 10th, as well as at the university festivals of Dankook University's Jukjeon Campus and Hongik University's Seoul Campus.
