Actor Lee Kwang-soo has expressed great satisfaction with his acting chemistry with his "close younger sister" Park Bo-young.

On the morning of the 27th, at the production briefing for the Disney+ original series 'Gold Land' (written by Hwang Jo-yoon, directed by Kim Seong-hun) held at the Conrad Seoul Hotel in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, Lee Kwang-soo stated that working with Park Bo-young was "comfortable and good."

'Gold Land' is a survival thriller about 'Kim Hee-ju' (Park Bo-young), who gets her hands on 150 billion won worth of gold bars from a smuggling ring and fights to keep the gold for herself amidst a chaotic mess of greed and betrayal. Park Bo-young, who is taking on her first crime genre project, plays 'Kim Hee-ju,' a customs officer who becomes blinded by greed due to the 150 billion won in gold, showing a new side of herself that audiences have never seen before. On the other hand, Lee Kwang-soo transforms into a powerful villain, playing 'Director Park,' an executive of the organization who relentlessly tracks down Hee-ju to recover the missing gold.

Lee Kwang-soo and Park Bo-young are famous for being close friends in the entertainment industry. Although they are an "attached older brother and younger sister" in real life, Director Park relentlessly chases and torments Kim Hee-ju in the series. Even though they had to act in ways that differed from their real-life relationship, both actors said their chemistry on set was excellent.

Lee Kwang-soo said, "I worked with Bo-young on a project 10 years ago, so we were close and it was comfortable. Also, because I knew the other person would understand whatever I did, I could speak and act comfortably," adding, "I am very satisfied with the time I spent with Bo-young."

Park Bo-young also expressed her satisfaction, saying, "Sometimes being too comfortable can be uncomfortable, but that wasn't the case at all. In the end, we fight each other, and I think we were able to do even more because we are close. So, I am grateful for that."

'Gold Land,' where you can see the acting transformations of Park Bo-young and Lee Kwang-soo, will premiere its first two episodes on Disney+ this Wednesday, the 29th. Following the premiere, two episodes will be released every Wednesday for a total of 10 episodes.
