NewJeans members HAERIN, HYEIN, and HANNI―who have returned to ADOR―were spotted traveling overseas together.
On the 14th, ADOR said, “It is true that NewJeans members visited Copenhagen, Denmark, with staff.”
Before that, posts and photos on Chinese social media and online communities claimed sightings of HAERIN and HYEIN at a store in Copenhagen. With confirmation that the three traveled together, attention is turning to the possibility of activities resuming.
NewJeans paused activities last year amid an exclusive-contract dispute with their agency. A court later ruled in favor of the agency, and HAERIN, HYEIN, and HANNI each officially returned to ADOR. MINJI and DANIELLE also expressed their intention to return, but MINJI’s status remains unclear.
ADOR has notified DANIELLE of the termination of her exclusive contract and has filed a lawsuit seeking penalties and damages worth 43.1 billion won against DANIELLE, her family, and former CEO Min Hee-jin.
