Singer HyunA drew attention after revealing a handwritten letter and flowers from her husband, Yong Junhyung, right after announcing the end of her exclusive contract.
On the 12th, HyunA posted a photo of a bouquet on her social media, along with what appears to be a letter written by Yong Junhyung.
The card reads: “To my beloved wife, HyunA. You’ve worked so hard all this time. I’m so grateful and proud that you held on without showing how tough it was,” adding, “From now on, it’ll be filled with happy things, so don’t miss a single one―let’s enjoy it all.” He continued, “I’ll support your new journey ahead with all my heart. I love you!”
Through the post, HyunA appeared to hint at her feelings following the contract conclusion. In particular, last October she worried fans after collapsing on stage, which led to a break in activities due to health concerns.
Recently, her agency AT AREA stated, “After in-depth discussions about HyunA’s future activities, we agreed to conclude her exclusive contract.” They added, “We deeply thank HyunA for delivering unrivaled stages and performances during the contract period, and we sincerely support her as she embarks on a new journey.”
Yong Junhyung has also reportedly notified his agency of terminating his exclusive contract amid internal conflict, raising curiosity about whether the two will continue activities in the same direction.
