K-pop stars are set to make a major splash at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, reinforcing their presence in the U.S. live music scene.
First up, BIGBANG will take the Outdoor Theatre stage in Indio, California, on April 12 and 19 (local time) for a roughly 60-minute set. Marking the group’s 20th debut anniversary, this full-group performance is raising expectations as a potential launchpad for a global tour.
Fan-favorite hits like “BANG BANG BANG,” “FANTASTIC BABY,” and “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” are on deck, and excitement is building for BIGBANG’s long-awaited return as a complete lineup.
TAEMIN will become the first Korean male solo artist officially on the Coachella lineup, delivering a solo set. He’s scheduled for about 50 minutes on the Mojave stage on April 11 and 18, unveiling a medley of hits plus a brand-new, unreleased song for the first time on stage.
Named by Coachella as one of this year’s must-see acts, TAEMIN is expected to showcase a distinctive performance backed by 18 years of experience.
HYBE and Geffen Records’ global girl group KATSEYE will also hit the Coachella stage as they release their new single “PINKY UP.” The group will perform the track live for the first time during their April 11 set.
“PINKY UP” blends punchy percussion, bass, and synths for a funk-inspired sound, delivering a confident “It’s a state of mind” message. Its addictive hook and standout choreography are already grabbing global fan attention.
From legacy groups to solo powerhouses to next-gen global projects, K-pop’s range is set to shine at Coachella―underscoring the genre’s growing reach and influence.
