BTS’s flagship self-produced series "Run BTS!" is coming back after three years.
On the 30th at 9 p.m. KST, the group dropped a teaser for "Run BTS! 2.0" on their official YouTube channel. It’s the first restart since a special episode in 2023―welcome news for fans who’ve been waiting to see the full-group chemistry again.
The teaser shows the members in a content planning meeting ahead of the official launch of "Run BTS! 2.0". They discuss fast-changing trends and pitch fresh ideas, building hype for what’s to come.
In the clip, V jokes about a new nickname, saying “Jokgu-hara,” while JUNGKOOK tosses out, “Do you know BTS?” The banter is pure chaos in the best way. Fans can also look forward to some “military talk,” now that every member has completed their service.
Since its 2015 debut, "Run BTS!" has been the group’s signature variety show for nearly a decade. Through games and missions, it’s showcased the members’ playful charm and won the hearts of ARMY (the fandom) worldwide.
The numbers back it up. From 2015 to 2021, 155 episodes were released, racking up around 140 million views on YouTube. Separately, 10 special episodes in 2022 and 2023 surpassed 130 million views. In particular, 2023’s "Fly BTS Fly Part 1"―where the members tried flying yoga―alone topped 30 million views.
In 2024-2025, the momentum continued with the spin-off "Run Jin". JIN planned the solo show with a sincere “I can do anything” mindset to repay fans’ love. Superstar guests―including South Korea’s national team athletes, Japanese actor Matsushige Yutaka, and Hollywood actor Tom Cruise―sparked major buzz. The series has surpassed 100 million cumulative views, proving its standout power. Expectations are high for how "Run BTS! 2.0" will expand its scale and connect with fans in new ways.
Meanwhile, according to preview reports published by U.S. music outlet Billboard on March 30-31, BTS topped the April 4 Hot 100 after the Billboard 200. On Spotify’s weekly charts (tracking period: March 20-26), they swept the global Weekly Top Albums, Weekly Top Songs, and Weekly Top Artists. This October, they’ll hold stadium concerts in Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil. All 46 dates―including Goyang, North America, and Europe―have sold out.
