Park Hae-soo Reveals on 'Whenever Possible': "I Couldn't Help Telling GOT7 JINYOUNG His Eyes Are Beautiful"

Actor Park Hae-soo shares the moment he saw GOT7’s JINYOUNG in real life and accidentally blurted out a compliment.

On the March 31 broadcast of SBS’s ‘Whenever Possible,’ MCs Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok welcome “Teum friends” Park Hae-soo and Lee Hee-jun for a healing hangout in Ssangmun-dong.

While the four stroll through the neighborhood, a passerby reacts only to Yoo Yeon-seok with, “Wow, you’re so handsome.” Yoo Jae-suk jokes, “Ma’am, that kind of hurts my feelings,” sparking laughs. Soon, the ladies’ shout turns into an unexpected crash course on the art of compliments.

Yoo Jae-suk says, “Even with close friends, I rarely say, ‘You’re handsome’ or ‘You’re pretty.’ I’m not the type to give empty compliments. But there are colleagues who make me go, ‘Whoa, he’s handsome,’ without thinking.” Park Hae-soo jumps in: “I felt the same when I saw GOT7’s JINYOUNG. Without realizing it, I said, ‘Your eyes are so beautiful.’”

Then Yoo Yeon-seok suddenly claims a “parallel theory” with JINYOUNG, stirring the group. “JINYOUNG and I have a lot in common,” he says, grabbing everyone’s attention. When Yoo Jae-suk teases, “Are you saying your faces look alike?” a flustered Yoo Yeon-seok quickly clarifies, “I mean we both moved up to Seoul from Gyeongsang Province,” sending the older members into hysterics.

Meanwhile, word gets out that Yoo Yeon-seok put his barista certificate to good use on a drama set. Yoo Yeon-seok and Park Hae-soo previously filmed overseas together for the drama "Narco-Saints," and Park Hae-soo vouches for “Barista Yoo”: “The coffee Yeon-seok brewed was really good.” Yoo Yeon-seok adds, “I brought my own pour-over tools. I do have a certificate,” showing off his skills. Park Hae-soo shares that Hwang Jung-min and Ha Jung-woo loved it, too, giving Yoo Yeon-seok a proud boost.

Yoo Yeon-seok also serves up special fan service for the show’s “Teum” owner, a true Gu Dong-mae fan. He even recreates the viral “skirt hem” scene, sending the set into a frenzy.

Packed with easygoing banter from the Teum friends, ‘Whenever Possible,’ featuring the 2026 version of Yoo Yeon-seok’s “Gu Dong-mae,” airs Tuesday, March 31 at 9 p.m.
