Singer G.NA (38), who has been on hiatus for about 10 years, sparked fresh comeback buzz by sharing a late-night look at her music-making.
G.NA recently posted a video on her social media with the caption “#2am #madness.” In the clip, she’s in comfy clothes, singing in the early hours and fully locked in on the music. A laptop set up nearby suggests she’s actively working on tracks.
She softly hums, “Melodies keep coming to me. I don’t know how to play it yet, but it’s okay―I can try again,” giving fans a candid peek into her creative process. The late-night grind shows her passion for music is still very much alive.
Back in September, G.NA broke her long silence with a lengthy post to fans on social media. “I carried this story quietly for years. Now I want to define myself by my present choices, not the past. I’ve healed and grown, and I’m finding my voice again,” she wrote, sharing how her mindset has changed.
She added, “Thank you to the fans who believed in me. Let’s meet again someday,” signaling her intention to return. Since then, she has continued to hint at a restart, posting updates like “Let’s get it” and “Home studio life” alongside clips of home recordings.
G.NA debuted in 2010 and earned widespread love with hits including “I'll Get Lost, You Go Your Way,” “Black & White,” and “Top Girl.” In 2016, she halted activities after receiving a summary indictment and a fine over prostitution charges, and she was said to be living in Canada afterward.
With her renewed focus on music after a long break, fans are watching closely to see if this momentum leads to a full comeback.
