HYBE and Geffen Records’ global girl group KATSEYE sparked another massive singalong from a 100,000-strong crowd in Sao Paulo, wrapping their Lollapalooza South America run on a high.

On March 22 (local time), KATSEYE hit the stage at Autodromo de Interlagos for Lollapalooza Brazil. After wowing fans in Argentina and Chile with powerhouse performances, anticipation was sky-high for their Brazil stop―and the crowd delivered.

Organizers estimated around 100,000 attendees on site, creating a breathtaking scene. The online stream blew up, too. According to HYBE and Geffen Records, KATSEYE’s Lollapalooza Brazil set drew 56,299 peak concurrent viewers on YouTube Live and roughly 230,000 views on Weverse Live.

The moment their opener Debut kicked off, a giant crowd singalong erupted, with fans nailing the lyrics. During the high-impact stages for "Gabriela" and "Gnarly"―both featuring standout dance breaks―fans across the venue followed along with the choreography. Over about an hour, KATSEYE powered through 13 songs, commanding the festival with relentless energy.

The members locked eyes with the audience and fed off the crowd throughout. Lara said, “Hearing you sing our songs this loud is giving me chills. I’ll never forget this show.” Daniela, who is Latin, spoke in Portuguese to connect with the local fans, adding, “Please don’t forget how much we love you,” as she shared her gratitude.

KATSEYE’s buzz in the region is surging post-festival. Across Latin America, streams of the group’s songs have risen by about 8%. Notably, Argentina is up 36% and Chile is up 33%, pointing to a direct lift from their stages to real music consumption.

Formed through the K-pop-methodology audition project "The Debut: Dream Academy," KATSEYE broke out within a year of debut, impacting the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 and earning a Grammy Awards nomination. The group is often cited as a leading example of HYBE Chairman Bang Si-Hyuk’s “multi-home, multi-genre” strategy.
