On April 26, SBS will host "Inkigayo: ON THE GO" at Paradise City in Incheon.
"Inkigayo: ON THE GO" recreates the excitement and emotion of the live broadcast from the SBS Deungchon-dong Public Hall―then takes it wherever K-pop fans are. It’s designed as an on-site show where artists and fans share the same space, moving beyond the traditional studio format into a larger, more open setting.
The Paradise City Plaza, a multi-complex that blends cultural and commercial spaces, features an open layout inside and out. The venue aims to deliver a fresh viewing experience you don’t typically get from standard music programs.
This project isn’t just a concert. It’s a push to expand what K-pop content can be by merging broadcast and live performance, offering domestic and global fans a more multidimensional K-pop experience.
An SBS representative said, “'Inkigayo: ON THE GO' expands the framework of traditional music shows by going directly to where the fans are and communicating on-site. We plan to continue showcasing K-pop content across diverse spaces and formats.”
The artist lineup for the event will be announced in stages at a later date.
