BTOB are back as a full group to celebrate their 14th debut anniversary.
Fashion magazine Cosmopolitan unveiled BTOB’s new pictorial and interview in its April issue. Reunited as six, the group showed off the musical depth they’ve built through both group and solo activities―and a team chemistry that hasn’t budged.
The members said this comeback carries special meaning. Lee Minhyuk shared, “Our debut anniversary is coming up, so we teamed up because we wanted to gift Melody with a special song,” adding, “It feels like a holiday family gathering with how much we’re together these days, and it makes me think of Melody a lot.”
They also opened up about the process behind the new track. Seo Eunkwang said, “We discussed a lot about which song to choose. We listened to many outside submissions, but Hyunsik’s song felt the most like BTOB.” Lim Hyunsik added, “While working on it, I thought a lot about Melody and the members. We captured a story that fits where we are right now.”
They also shared updates on their individual activities. Yook Sungjae is gearing up to film the drama "Nine to Six," where he’ll play Han Sun-woo, a character with both delicate and untamed charms. Lee Minhyuk recently released his first solo EP and wrapped a successful Europe tour. “I had a cold during the Madrid show and my voice wasn’t in great shape, but thanks to the fans’ support I made it through,” he said. “It left me feeling grateful and sorry at the same time.”
The members reflected on being back together. Peniel said, “Even when we don’t have group activities, I stay in Korea to be with BTOB. When we reunite after a while, I really feel how much I missed everyone.” Lee Changsub added, “I went to Waterbomb alone and, after seeing another group perform as a full team, I thought about BTOB a lot. It made me want to create moments like that too.”
Seo Eunkwang shared his heart: “Like the lyrics of our new song 'We Together,' I think the reason we can stay together for so long is because we share the same dream. Thank you to Melody for becoming BTOB’s dream. I want us to keep walking together.”
BTOB’s full pictorial and interview are available in Cosmopolitan’s April issue and on its official website.
