The film 'The King's Warden' has crossed 13.7 million admissions nationwide.
According to the Korea Film Council’s integrated box office database on the 18th, 'The King's Warden' drew 120,449 moviegoers on the 17th, bringing its cumulative total to 13,722,161 admissions.
Currently No. 7 on the all-time Korean box office chart, 'The King's Warden' is expected to surpass No. 6 'Frozen 2' (13,768,797 admissions) sometime today (18th).
Even on a weekday in its seventh week, the film is pulling over 100,000 daily viewers. However, its advance sales ranking has slipped to No. 2. The new Ryan Gosling-led release 'Project Hail Mary,' opening today (18th), has topped a 40% advance ticket share and is challenging 'The King's Warden' for the No. 1 spot at the box office.
Today’s head-to-head is expected to shape the weekend box office race as well.
