On the March 17 broadcast of the SBS variety show “Whenever Possible,” the duo teams up with MCs Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok for a healing day around Daechi-dong.
Both stars confess they’re true fans of the show. Park Sung-woong says right from the opening, “I’ve watched everything since Cho Jung-seok appeared early on,” then effortlessly names his favorite episode: “Son Suk-ku X Kim Da-mi.” His confidence is sky-high. “I’m super competitive. I’ll do great,” he declares. Lee Sang-yoon quickly chimes in, “I’m competitive too,” raising expectations from Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok.
But reality hits different. Seeing the “Whenever Possible” games in person, Lee jokes, “I always cracked up watching at home, but this is way too hard,” turning the set into a laugh fest.
That’s when Yoo Yeon-seok steps in as the ultimate variety teammate for the self-proclaimed superfans. Park Sung-woong and Lee Sang-yoon become the day’s unexpected “weak-link duo.” Park admits, “I used to tease Jae-suk as a ‘practice Messi,’ but after trying it myself, there’s nothing to tease.” Yoo Yeon-seok backs them up nonstop: “It’s different from watching. Your body won’t do what your heart wants.” He even turns into Park’s mental coach, hyping him up with, “Sung-woong hyung is on fire right now,” and boosting his confidence with endless praise.
Expect upgraded banter and dopamine-fueled games when the Tuesday healing show “Whenever Possible” airs Tuesday, the 17th, at 9 p.m.
