Jannabi vocalist Choi Jung-hoon (34) thanked fans for organizing a birthday billboard event.
Choi recently posted a video on his social media, filmed in front of a digital billboard near Hongdae. In the clip, he beams as he takes a proof shot in front of the fan-made birthday display.
Born on March 10, 1992, Choi marked his birthday on the 10th near Exit 8 of Hongdae Station. Holding a placard with his photo, he flashed a V sign and said, “It’s me,” while naturally thanking people who offered congratulations. He also waved to passersby and bus riders, cheerfully calling out, “Neighbors, it’s my birthday.”
Two billboards around Hongdae reportedly featured his photos alongside birthday messages.
Seeing the displays, Choi said with delight, “I’ve made it, I’ve made it.” He added, “It’s my first time getting this kind of birthday celebration in the middle of Hongdae. I felt glad I was born, and it made me so happy. Thank you for celebrating my birthday with a billboard. My 2026 birthday became truly meaningful.”
