The film 'The King's Warden' has officially become the 34th movie in Korean history to pass 10 million admissions, and attention is now on how far it can go.

According to the Korean Film Council’s box office data, from Mar. 6 to 8, 'The King's Warden' drew 1,725,769 moviegoers nationwide, topping the weekend box office. Its cumulative admissions stand at 11,003,747.

It surpassed 11 million viewers on Mar. 6, the 31st day of release, and by Mar. 8―day 33―it had firmly reached the 11 million milestone. That pace is faster than 'Exhuma' (40 days), '12.12: The Day' (36 days), and 'Masquerade' (48 days), and it matches 'The Roundup: Punishment.'

Notably, its fifth-weekend haul of 1.72 million is on par with its fourth-weekend total of 1.75 million, which benefited from the March 1 holiday. Even after more than a month in theaters, its momentum hasn’t slowed.

Advance ticketing has also topped 50%, signaling a continued run. All eyes are on whether 'The King's Warden' can push past 13 million admissions.
