ENHYPEN’s video call fan event was canceled on the day of the event due to members feeling unwell, prompting complaints from some fans.
Global fandom event platform HelloLive announced on the 2nd that the [VIDEO CALL EVENT] ENHYPEN 'THE SIN : VANISH' video call event, scheduled for 6 p.m. that day, could not proceed as planned because of the artists’ poor condition.
HelloLive said, “This event will be rescheduled, and we will share the new date as soon as it’s confirmed. We apologize for the inconvenience and concern caused to customers who have been waiting.”
Some fans voiced frustration. In a separate notice, HelloLive explained that the event had already finished sales and the lottery, and as stated on the sales page, refunds are not available for cancellations, postponements, or changes due to circumstances.
The platform also stated that fans must complete a required Test Call beforehand to participate in the video call event. If the Test Call is not completed, participation in the video call will not be possible.
With the event canceled on the same day and no new date confirmed, some fans took to online communities and social media to say the sudden change made it hard to prepare and that detailed guidance was lacking. Others called for a responsible apology.
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN released their 7th mini album 'THE SIN : VANISH' last month and has been continuing promotions. The album became their fourth double million-seller, maintaining strong popularity.
