Actor Choi Jung-yoon (48) shared an update on her remarriage and openly expressed her affection for her husband.
In a video posted on February 26 on her YouTube channel, Choi chatted over a meal with friends and spoke candidly about how her life has changed since remarrying.
“People suddenly started saying my face looked brighter,” she said. “I didn’t hide anything, but I didn’t feel the need to bring it up first either. Those who knew would say, ‘No wonder you seemed at ease.’ I’ve also heard a lot that I look prettier now.”
Choi divorced in October 2022 after 10 years of marriage and had been raising her elementary school?aged daughter on her own. Four years after the divorce, she announced last year that she had remarried, drawing attention. Her husband is a company employee five years younger than her. They first met through a mutual acquaintance and grew closer over a shared love of golf.

She added that her daughter played a major role in the decision. “I’d say my child’s opinion made up about 70%,” Choi shared. “Every time I hear that my child is getting brighter, I feel I truly made the right choice.”
“Of course, some people may not view the situation positively, but my life is very comfortable now,” she continued. “This must be what family feels like. I’m grateful for the life I have.”
Choi also opened up about her husband. “We have similar personalities,” she said. “We’re both on the conservative side, and because he majored in physical education, our mindsets align. Our approach to raising kids is similar, too.” She added, “I’m a bit more conservative, but our styles match well,” hinting at a stable married life.
