On the February 26 broadcast of SBS POWER FM (107.7 MHz) “Fun Fun Today”, Kang appeared as a guest. Leaning on his friendship with DJ Lee Ingwon, he kept the morning lively with relaxed, playful banter that delighted listeners.
Even in the middle of CNBLUE’s ongoing world tour “3LOGY,” Kang said he made time to join the show out of loyalty, earning smiles all around. During the show, DJ Lee asked, “Who do you think is the most handsome drummer in Korea?” Kang waved it off, insisting it wasn’t him, and drew laughs with his modesty.
Lee then posed the same question to an AI. The AI picked Kang Min-hyuk as “Korea’s No. 1 handsome drummer,” calling him “an undisputed drummer and the very definition of visuals.” It added that he has been loved since debut for his clean, refined look, and that his tall height and gentle image make the nickname “the prince who plays drums” a perfect fit ― leaving Kang surprised.
Listeners chimed in with hot reactions: “He really is the prince on drums,” “The AI got it right,” and “Is he hitting the drums or our hearts? Kang Min-hyuk is the best!”
Kang also introduced his self-written essay “It’s Not All Like That” (literal title), sharing sincere reflections. He promised to return to the show when a revised edition is released, building anticipation among fans. Throughout the broadcast, his effortless back-and-forth with DJ Lee kept the laughs coming, and he wrapped with bright, feel-good energy.
SBS POWER FM’s “Lee Ingwon’s Fun Fun Today” airs daily from 5 to 7 a.m. KST on 107.7 MHz and the SBS Gorilla app. The video version of the radio show will be released on SBS Radio’s official YouTube channel “ERAO.”
