BLACKPINK just teased a mind-expanding new era.
On the 24th, YG Entertainment dropped BLACKPINK - ‘GO’ M/V TEASER on its official blog. The clip finally lifts the veil on the concept of the highly anticipated new single. The scale feels straight-up galactic.
The members appear to be preparing for a voyage that crosses sea, land, and sky―then blasts into space. Sleek, sensory visuals amplify the mood. When they gather and grip a set of crossed oars, you can feel a fierce resolve.
The title flashes by in multiple languages. White sand erupts, forming a symbol that locks into “GO.” Mysterious elements flow together, signaling a turn into fresh territory for BLACKPINK’s sound and visuals. Fans are zeroing in on the new charms this album might unveil.
BLACKPINK will release mini 3rd album [DEADLINE] on February 27 at 2 p.m. KST. The five-track set includes title track ‘GO,’ pre-release song ‘JUMP,’ ‘Me and my,’ ‘Champion,’ and ‘Fxxxboy.’ According to YG, as the title [DEADLINE] suggests, the album captures “the best moments you can’t turn back” and “BLACKPINK’s brightest present, right now.”
From February 27 to March 8, BLACKPINK teams up with the National Museum of Korea for the “National Museum of Korea X BLACKPINK” project. Spotify joins the special collaboration. The museum’s exterior will glow in pink lighting, and an audio guide featuring the members will spotlight signature artifacts. In the main lobby, History Road, a listening session will let visitors hear the entire mini 3rd album. The pre-release sessions sold out as soon as reservations opened, and the post-release sessions will be open to everyone.
