Singer Kang Daniel has quietly enlisted for his mandatory military service.
According to his agency ARA, Kang Daniel begins active-duty service today. There will be no separate event at the training center. After completing basic training, he will serve in the Army.
The agency asked fans to refrain from visiting the site for safety, noting that many service members and their families will be present.
Ahead of enlistment, Kang Daniel greeted fans on social media with a fresh buzz cut and a brief message: “I’ll be back.” This marks his first extended break from activities since debuting on Mnet’s Produce 101 in 2017.
A Wanna One reunion project is slated for the first half of this year. Various Wanna One content prepared before his enlistment is expected to roll out like a gift for fans.
