Actor Ha Jung-woo, who recently confirmed he’s dating, will return to the small screen this March―his first TV comeback in 19 years.

tvN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama "Mad Concrete Dreams", boasting a star lineup of Ha Jung-woo, Lim Soo-jung, Kim Joon-han, Krystal, and Shim Eun-kyung, has dropped a “casting teaser” video.

The series follows a debt-burdened, make-ends-meet building owner who joins a staged kidnapping to protect what matters most―his family and his property. Set against the reality of “the republic of real estate” in Korea, it promises tightly wound suspense and powerhouse performances that crank up the tension.

The teaser thrills fans with the fresh combo of Ha Jung-woo, Lim Soo-jung, Kim Joon-han, Krystal, and Shim Eun-kyung, while hinting at clashing agendas around one building―and the people desperate to control it.
Building Owner

Ha Jung-woo plays Ki Soo-jong, a “yeongkkeul” building owner―someone who maxes out every possible loan to buy property―who warns, “Being a building owner isn’t as easy as it looks.” Lim Soo-jung, as his wife Kim Sun, worries, “How long has it been on the market already?” Kim Joon-han, as Soo-jong’s close friend Min Hwal-seong, casually asks, “Want to sell the building to me?” Krystal, as Hwal-seong’s wife Jeon Yi-kyung, shrugs, “Since when is money a problem?” And Shim Eun-kyung, as Yona, an executor for a mysterious pool of capital, proposes, “3 billion won―sound good?” Their tangled ambitions tease where this high-stakes story will go.

Above all, the line “Curious about the last lifeline to turn your life around?” hooks viewers. What does it really take to become a building owner in Korea―and what price will they pay? As a dark basement door creaks open, danger looms, ramping up anticipation for the premiere.

"Mad Concrete Dreams" premieres March 14, Saturday, at 9:10 p.m. on tvN.
