On the Feb. 1 episode of SBS’s "Running Man", the cast dove into an “Age Rating Survival” race.
The mission? Compete alongside Ji Ye-eun to secure a poster concept inspired by those tongue-in-cheek TV age-rating warnings―and complete challenges to get your concept picked.
In a cutthroat round of Tail Tag Survival, Yoo Jae-suk absorbed Ji Seok-jin, Yang Se-chan, Kim Jong-kook, and Song Ji-hyo as his “tails,” while HAHA, who had Ji Ye-eun on his side, headed to Apgujeong Rodeo to hunt down Yoo’s hidden phone.
Meanwhile, HAHA and Ji Ye-eun made for Dosan Park to track Yoo’s device. With both sides stalled, Ji Seok-jin quietly reached out to HAHA behind Yoo’s back.
After spending all day being dragged around as a tail, Ji Seok-jin finally snapped and decided to betray the team. He tipped off HAHA with a crucial photo and directions to the phone’s location.
HAHA, who’d planned to ditch the chase for Yoo’s phone and instead protect his own, pivoted back to Dosan Park thanks to Ji Seok-jin’s intel―and asked him to sabotage Yoo along the way.
“I don’t know if HAHA will keep his promise,” Ji Seok-jin joked, riffing on nicknames and alliances as he plotted to hand HAHA the win and then renegotiate his own role afterward.
Around the same time, Yoo eyed a Korean snack shop where HAHA had allegedly stashed a phone. “Have you seen HAHA by any chance?” he asked. “Maybe,” a staffer replied with a grin, adding, “But I’ve got to stay loyal,” turning heads with the playful dodge.
With Ji Seok-jin’s decisive hint, HAHA and Ji Ye-eun located Yoo’s phone―just as Yoo convinced the snack shop staff to drop a coy clue: “If it’s in the shop, it’s somewhere important.” That led him straight to a safe containing HAHA’s device.
In a split second that could end the race―one “OUT” text to the opponent’s phone would wrap everything―Ji Seok-jin snatched HAHA’s phone from Yoo and bolted. Yoo and Yang Se-chan managed to tackle him and get it back.
The episode cut before revealing the final result, leaving viewers guessing how Ji Seok-jin’s chaos will shake out when the chase continues next week.
