"The Art of Sarah" follows Sarah Kim (Shin Hye-sun), a woman desperate to be a luxury icon even if it’s all a facade, and Mukyung (Lee Jun-hyuk), the man determined to chase down her desires and the truth behind them. The newly released images spotlight Mukyung’s steely, sharp charisma.
A lieutenant on the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Major Crimes Unit, Mukyung takes on the case of Sarah Kim, found frozen to death with her face brutally disfigured in the heart of Cheongdam’s luxury district. Standing before a screen filled with reports and statements, his unwavering stare signals a dogged pursuit of the truth lurking behind the “Sarah Kim” case.
One still shows Mukyung in the interrogation room, coolly sizing up the person across from him―confidence radiating as if the case is already in his grasp. In another, a flicker of unease crosses his face, hinting at the chaos to come as the truth starts to surface.
Lee Jun-hyuk, known for slipping effortlessly between good and evil in projects like the Netflix series "Mercy for None," the dramas "Love Scout" and "Stranger," and the films "The Firefighters" and "The Roundup: No Way Out," embodies Mukyung with icy precision and relentless focus―an investigator who sprints forward on sheer conviction alone.
Promising an unpredictable mystery and twisty reversals around the enigmatic Sarah Kim―who appeared out of nowhere and captivated everyone―"The Art of Sarah" premieres Feb. 13 on Netflix.
