BTS is hitting the road this April with a massive new tour fans around the world have been waiting for.

It’s the group’s first large-scale run in about four years, following the conclusion of 2022’s "BTS Permission to Dance On Stage in Las Vegas".

At midnight KST on Jan. 14, the group dropped a “BTS World Tour” poster on global fan platform Weverse, officially unveiling the trek. The tour kicks off in Goyang, South Korea, before rolling through North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia. So far, 79 shows across 34 cities have been announced ― the most dates ever for a single K-pop tour. Additional stops in Japan and the Middle East are expected to expand the itinerary even further.

The curtain rises at Goyang Sports Complex on April 9 and 11-12, with a follow-up in Busan on June 12-13. Notably, June 13 marks BTS’s debut anniversary, setting the stage for a special celebration with fans.

North America launches in Tampa on April 25-26, spanning 28 shows in 12 cities. BTS will take over Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso and Gillette Stadium in Foxborough ― billed as the first and largest K-pop concerts ever held in those cities ― and will also play Stanford Stadium.

They become only the second act after Coldplay to mount a show at Stanford Stadium. The group will additionally make history as the first Korean act to headline Arlington’s AT&T Stadium ― the world’s largest domed venue by capacity ― as well as Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium. In June and July, the tour moves to Europe for 10 shows across five cities, including London and Paris, with first-ever solo concerts in Madrid and Brussels.

The itinerary also includes five Latin American cities such as Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires, with plans to extend into the Middle East. The production is set to match the scope: a 360-degree stage will amp up the immersion for fans in every seat.

Ahead of the tour, BTS will drop their fifth studio album on March 20, featuring 14 tracks ― their first full-group comeback in about three years and nine months. The members channel the candid emotions and reflections of their recent journey to present “BTS, right now.”
