A fresh teaser has reignited hopes for a Wanna One reunion, seven years after the project group wrapped with a 2019 farewell concert.
On Jan. 1, the Mnet Plus official YouTube channel dropped a clip titled “2026 COMING SOON We’ll Meet Again.” In it, an anonymous figure pops a cassette stamped with the Wanna One logo into a player; as the tape spins, a familiar line―“We’ll meet again”―plays. The lyric comes from "Spring Breeze," the group’s final single and a sentimental favorite among fans.
The teaser closes with the phrase “We GO Again,” fueling speculation that this is more than a nostalgia play and could signal the start of a full-on reunion project. Members including Hwang Min-hyun, Yoon Ji-sung, Park Woo-jin, and Lee Dae-hwi amplified the buzz by sharing the video across their socials.
Mnet said on Jan. 2, “While the Wanna One members have been considering a reunion with Wannable, they agreed to produce a new season of the reality program fans loved most,” adding that the project is targeting a release in the first half of 2026. Specific scheduling and format details will be announced later.
Formed through "Produce 101" Season 2 in 2017, the 11-member project act―Kang Daniel, Park Ji-hoon, Lee Dae-hwi, Kim Jae-hwan, Ong Seong-wu, Park Woo-jin, Lai Kuanlin, Yoon Ji-sung, Hwang Min-hyun, Bae Jin-young, and Ha Sung-woon―debuted that August and delivered a string of hits including "Energetic," "Boomerang," and "Burn It Up."
They became the first Korean act to debut at Gocheok Sky Dome, underscoring their phenomenon-level popularity. After concluding official activities with a January 2019 concert at the same venue, ten members (without Lai Kuanlin) reunited for a special stage at the 2021 MAMA, keeping hopes alive for another comeback down the line.
