SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama "Taxi Driver 3" (written by Oh Sang-ho, directed by Kang Bo-seung) is cruising at record speed. Episode 12 soared to a peak 19.1% nationwide (15.2% in the Seoul metro area), ranked No. 1 for six straight weeks in Good Data Corporation’s TV drama buzz chart, and topped Gallup Korea’s December “Most Popular TV Programs.” The streak continued at the 2025 SBS Drama Awards, where the series won Drama of the Year and Lee Je-hoon took home the Grand Prize.
Last episode, the Rainbow crew ― Do-gi (Lee Je-hoon), CEO Jang (Kim Eui-sung), Go Eun (Pyo Ye-jin), Chief Choi (Jang Hyuk-jin) and Chief Park (Bae Yoo-ram) ― zeroed in on a vicious scam ring exploiting a used-goods marketplace. During the takedown, Do-gi discovered a shadowy network of “crime setters” pulling the strings and traced them to the remote island of Samheungdo ― setting the stage for the next big play.
In Episode 13, Rainbow launches a full-scale pursuit of the pro “crime-setting” outfit known as the Samheungdoz. Following Do-gi and CEO Jang, the entire team infiltrates the island to kick off a blockbuster revenge service. Do-gi even poses as a client seeking “criminal consulting” to get close to the Samheungdoz and their leader, Go Jak-ga (Kim Sung-kyu).
But in newly released stills, Do-gi is seen being hauled in by Sgt. Kim (Ji Dae-han) ― sparking questions about whether the Samheungdoz have seen through his disguise. Even cuffed and cornered, Do-gi refuses to surrender the upper hand. His fox-like gaze suggests he’s already working Sgt. Kim, teasing a bigger gambit that could turn the tables on the villains.
Another shot shows Do-gi face-to-face with Go Jak-ga, both men keeping their guard up. The tense standoff hints at Do-gi’s newest blueprint for taking down the Samheungdoz ― and whether it will land as planned remains to be seen.
