At the 2025 SBS Entertainment Awards, broadcast live from SBS Prism Tower in Seoul’s Mapo-gu at 8:50 p.m. KST on the 30th, Lee Hyun-yi and 'Kick a Goal's Kim Jin-kyung shared the Women’s Top Excellence Award.
Onstage, Lee thanked the teams behind 'Kick a Goal' and 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny', saying, “This trophy belongs to the producers who made these shows happen―I’m just accepting it on your behalf.”
She added, “I wear a lot of hats these days―broadcaster, model, mom, daughter, wife. I’m hustling to do my best in every role.”
As Lee spoke, Lee Ji-hye wiped away tears, clearly relating. “Every working mom knows this feeling,” Lee Hyun-yi said. “You want to do everything well, yet you live with that constant guilt.” The moment resonated with fellow working moms in the room, including Lee Su-ji.
“Twenty years ago, in 2005, I debuted at SBS,” Lee noted. “Marking my 20th anniversary, I’m accepting this as a pat on the back―a recognition of living my life to the fullest as a working mom. To all the working moms out there, keep going.”
