Airing live Wednesday, Dec. 31 at 8:50 p.m. KST, the 2025 SBS Drama Awards will feature the faces set to headline SBS’ 2026 drama slate, teasing fresh on-screen pairings and first looks at buzzy new titles.
Kicking things off, Kim Hye-yoon and Lomon take the stage as presenters ahead of their fantasy rom-com 'Human from Today' (literal translation) about a Gen Z gumiho who wants nothing to do with being human and a gloriously self-absorbed mortal. Kim promises a bold transformation as the gumiho who refuses to turn human, while Lomon is set to make waves as a world-class soccer phenom―their first onstage moment together should have fans buzzing.
Yoo Yeon-seok will also present, reuniting with viewers through the offbeat and warmhearted "With God," where a lawyer who sees ghosts teams with an elite attorney to right strange injustices by the book. With Yoo stepping into a “possessed” attorney role, expectations are high for his range and reinvention.
Kim Bum’s appearance is another highlight. He’s making a small-screen return with "Sold Out Today," a dreamy, bickering rom-com about a three-job farmer named Matthew Lee who keeps colliding with top talk show host Dam Ye-jin, an insomniac who never sleeps―and never slows down. Curiosity is mounting over Kim’s next chapter.
Fan-favorites So Ji-sub, Choi Dae-hoon and Yoon Kyung-ho will showcase a new kind of chemistry in "Mr. Kim" (literal translation), about an ordinary dad who risks everything―and exposes a secret he vowed to keep buried―to find his missing daughter. Think action, bromance and big-hearted fatherhood colliding in a bold new “dad universe.”
From "Flex x Cop 2," Ahn Bo-hyun and his new partner-in-crime-fighting Jung Eun-chae are set to present, offering an early peek at their cash-meets-badge, “flex”-powered investigations. Co-stars Kang Sang-jun and Kim Shin-bi will join them onstage to double the fun.
Kim Ji-won, who’s gearing up for a striking transformation in the medical noir "Doctor X: Age of the White Mafia" (literal translation), will also light up the ceremony. As Dr. Kye Soo-jung―aka the “mad dog of the OR”―she’s out to cut out a corrupt system, and anticipation for her scene-stealing turn is high.
Rounding things out, Pyo Ji-hoon and Ji Seung-hyun will present from "Good Partner 2," the hit legal workplace drama about star divorce attorney Cha Eun-kyung―where divorce is her calling―that peaked at 17.7% in Korea and is back for a second season. Jang Na-ra, who took home the Grand Prize (Daesang) at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards, will also step up as a presenter, stoking even more excitement for the new season.
The 2025 SBS Drama Awards airs live Wednesday, Dec. 31 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
