On the Dec. 28 episode of SBS’s "My Little Old Boy", Yoo made his debut as the show’s newest “son.”
Yoo gamed into the wee hours, prompting concern from the studio moms. That was just the start.
He kept a stash of chips and soda by his side and even ordered delivery after 4 a.m., which had his mother fuming.
Feeling a little guilty, he hopped on a bike to work out after eating ― but he sipped soda instead of water, pretty much canceling out the effort.
When drowsiness hit and he crashed right away, panelist Seo Jang-hoon deadpanned, “Isn’t that what you do on purpose when you’re bulking up?”
Yoo finally woke up around 1 p.m. to a visit from fellow comedians Kim Jun-ho, Kim Min-kyung and Hong Yun-hwa.
Saying he needed to slim down for health reasons, Yoo took his prescribed meds with soda ― prompting his friends to stop him. He insisted it was fine because it was zero-calorie.
Soon, a mountain of delivery food he’d preordered arrived ― pizza, Chinese and Korean ― a spread almost unbelievable for just four people.
Dieting Hong Yun-hwa turned down the jjajangmyeon he offered, so Yoo stunned everyone by unveiling a salad in a mixing bowl big enough for making kimchi.
He then revisited his viral feats: polishing off jjajangmyeon in 30 seconds and biting into four pizza slices at once.
“What do you even get out of eating like that?” Kim Jun-ho asked. “It’s delicious,” Yoo shot back.
Kim Min-kyung and Hong Yun-hwa chimed in with a laugh, saying packing your mouth gives “a fuller flavor and depth ― it tastes different.”
Yoo also boasted that at 187 centimeters, he’s the same height as Jo In-sung and Gang Dong-won.
A teaser at the end promised a cue-sports clash: Seoul Institute of the Arts legend Shin Dong-yup versus music-scene pool ace Tak Jae-hoon ― setting up next week’s showdown.
