Singer-songwriter Lee Mujin has successfully wrapped his 2025 intimate theater series, "Today’s, eMUtion", playing to sold-out crowds across four nights in Seoul.
Held December 20, 21, 24 and 25 at Mesa Hall in Jung-gu, the run sold out the moment tickets went on sale, underscoring Lee’s formidable box-office pull to close out the year.
A play on his name and “emotion,” "Today’s, eMUtion" traced the arc of a day―from morning to late night―using music to chart shifting moods. The narrative format invited fans to reflect on their own “today,” making for an especially resonant, personal experience.
He kicked things off with the rousing “Slainte!” before leaning into his signature candid storytelling and delicate vocals. Romantic mid-set selections turned the room into a cozy winter escape, and seasonal picks―including the classic “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas”―amped up the holiday glow. An encore of his breakout hit “Traffic Light” sent the crowd home on a high.
Leveraging the intimacy of a small venue, Lee kept the banter unfiltered and the arrangements finely tuned, closing the distance between stage and seats and forging an easy, genuine rapport with the audience.
With his birthday coming up on the 28th, fans surprised him with an on-site celebration. “Next year, I want to accept birthday wishes as an even more confident musician. Thank you for celebrating my life this year,” he told the crowd, drawing warm applause.
The run reaffirmed Lee Mujin’s singular sensibility and live prowess, raising anticipation for what he has planned next.
