GAIN and Jo Kwon ― the beloved couple from MBC's hit virtual-marriage series "We Got Married Season 2" ― are teaming up again after 16 years for a brand-new duet.
The pair will release "I Happen to Love You" (2025), a collaboration tied to the film "Even if This Love Disappears from the World Tonight", on Dec. 17 at 6 p.m. KST across major music platforms.
Originally unveiled during their "We Got Married" run, "I Happen to Love You" became a fan-favorite thanks to the duo’s effortless chemistry. The 2025 version leans into that nostalgia with warmer, winter-ready vibes and lyrics about being perfectly in sync and happiest together ― now delivered with more seasoned emotion and a refined vocal blend.
Based on Ichijo Masaki’s bestselling novel, "Even if This Love Disappears from the World Tonight" follows a girl who wakes up each day with her memories reset and a boy stuck in a colorless routine as they navigate a tender, fleeting romance. The film, starring Choo Young-woo and Shin Si-a, opens Dec. 24.
