Koyote's Bbaekga opened up about his feelings regarding the turmoil that followed Shinji's marriage announcement and the rumors surrounding her fiance, MoonOne.
On the morning of the 9th, during the broadcast of KBS Cool FM's 'Park Myung Soo's Radio Show', Koyote's Shinji and Bbaekga appeared as guests. DJ Park Myung Soo started the conversation by saying, "Today, we have Shinji and Bbaekga with us. There's been a lot of buzz. We're not here to confront issues head-on, but rather to continue with our usual activities. We'll talk about the new song and I'll ask them the questions you're curious about."
Shinji shared, "First of all, so many people have expressed their concerns and worries. I've lived thinking I wasn't receiving much love from people for a long time. Going through these recent events made me realize 'I've been loved by so many for the past 27 years,' and I felt sorry for causing everyone fatigue."
Bbaekga also expressed his discomfort, "Honestly, watching everything unfold by her side has been uneasy. We've received a lot of love, but it's sad that some people see it differently when it should be a blessing."
Previously, Bbaekga's reaction to MoonOne's divorce revelation, where he excused himself to the bathroom, became a talking point. Bbaekga commented, "That YouTube top comment said I looked coolest when heading to the bathroom. From my perspective, I'm grateful that Shinji has received so much love and that Koyote is loved by many. Please continue to support us."
Regarding the timing of the wedding, Shinji said, "It's still a distant topic," and mentioned coordinating schedules with the members to avoid conflicts with events. Shinji added, "Kim Jong-min considered Koyote's schedule too, but... It's usually a slow period when he got married, but unexpectedly, we received a lot of bookings. If I do it, I'll try to choose an off-peak time."
During the broadcast, Shinji also candidly spoke about her thoughts on proposals. She said, "I've always thought proposals aren't necessary, and they don't have to be a surprise. Renting a cafe and giving flowers... just thinking about it makes me cringe," she laughed.
Park Myung Soo showed his support by saying, "I trust Shinji and respect her choice. For those who are worried, showing them a happy life is the best response. That will prove their concerns were unfounded."
Shinji responded, "I'm aware of everyone's concerns and understand them."
Meanwhile, after the live broadcast, Shinji and Bbaekga are set to film for tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block'. "We're releasing a new song in August. You can look forward to it. We've worked with someone surprising," they teased, raising anticipation for Koyote's upcoming activities.
