In the previous episode, the character Seo Tae-yang (Lee Seung-hyub) was frozen in shock upon discovering that his father, Seo Min-chul (Kim Jong-tae), was the hit-and-run driver who, along with Chairman Jo (Jo Han-chul), caused the death of Kim Bom's (Park Ji-hu) mother years ago.
