On the 22nd, Park took to her social media to announce, "Coming out of the pregnancy closet. A little sibling for our firstborn has arrived."
Park shared, "God has blessed our family with a precious new life. This little bundle of joy came to us during the snowy Lunar New Year holiday. We've nicknamed the baby 'Seolbok,' which means 'New Year's blessing.'"
She continued, "After sending our beloved Simon to heaven and experiencing two miscarriages, we embarked on the journey of IVF treatment. Through this process, I've deeply realized that conceiving a life is neither ordinary nor easy―it's an incredibly precious and astonishing miracle that words can hardly describe."
Park added, "Unlike with my first, I've been dealing with morning sickness and a rollercoaster of emotions every day, cautious and worried, but now we're at 19 weeks, and Seolbok is growing healthily. I'm overjoyed to share this wonderful news with you all. I sincerely thank everyone who has prayed for us and supported us, eagerly awaiting this good news."
Park Bo-mi debuted as a comedian in the 29th class of KBS open recruitment in 2014, appearing on KBS2's 'Gag Concert' and tvN's 'SNL Korea.' She later transitioned to acting, featuring in dramas like 'Strong Girl Bong-soon,' 'Mr. Sunshine,' and 'Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency.' Park married former soccer player Park Yo-han in 2020.
In 2022, Park gave birth to her first son, Si-mon, but tragically lost him the following year. At the time, Park shared, "My angel son Si-mon suddenly had a febrile seizure leading to cardiac arrest, but after 40 minutes of CPR, his heart miraculously started beating again for his family. He's now in a deep sleep. We need the power of prayer." Despite widespread support, Si-mon could not recover and passed away.
Following this, Park received a lot of support as she underwent IVF treatment in hopes of a second pregnancy.
