'Figure Queen' Yuna Kim's husband, Ko Woorim, completes his military duty and returns.
Ko Woorim of Forestella is set to be discharged as a sergeant today after completing his service in the Army Band.
Having enlisted as an active-duty soldier in November 2023, Ko Woorim diligently served in the military band for a year and a half. Even during his service, Ko Woorim made exemplary moves by appearing in last year's KBS2 'Immortal Songs' Armed Forces Day special as a member of the Ministry of National Defense Choir, and leading the national anthem at the '105th Anniversary March 1st Independence Movement Day Ceremony'.
Before enlisting, Ko Woorim successfully held the '2023 Forestella Festival' and his first solo concert '[#000000] BLACK', proving his strong ticket power both as a solo artist and with Forestella, and actively engaging in various activities.
Having fulfilled his military duty, Ko Woorim will join his Forestella members for a discharge celebration live stream on YouTube at 8 PM today, sharing a warm greeting. With the youngest member Ko Woorim discharged, Forestella, now a group where all members have completed their military service, plans to respond to fans' anticipation with their unchanged teamwork and untold stories.
Additionally, starting from the 20th, Forestella will begin recruiting the 3rd generation of their official fan club 'Forest Star' through the fandom platform Fromm, warming up for their full group activities. Celebrating their 7th anniversary this year, Forestella aims to solidify their presence as a leading crossover group in Korea by maintaining a close relationship with 'Forest Star' through diverse music, performances, and content.
Ko Woorim made headlines by marrying Yuna Kim in 2022. The couple, with a five-year age difference, met at an event in 2018 and became a couple after three years of dating. Ko Woorim enlisted as an active-duty soldier a year after their marriage, marking a period of separation from Yuna Kim.
