Actress Park Jin-joo has successfully concluded her run in the musical 'LAIKA in B612'.
'LAIKA in B612' is inspired by the true story of the first space exploration dog, LAIKA in B612, sent into orbit aboard the Soviet Union's Sputnik 2 during the Cold War era.
From March to May 18th, Park took on the role of LAIKA in B612, a dog who loved humans so much that she flew into space, at the Doosan Art Center Yonkang Hall. Her performance was deeply moving.
Park sang the role of the brave and adorable LAIKA in B612 with emotional melodies, delivering her lines with a refreshing vocal power and clear tone that finely conveyed her emotions. Her portrayal ranged from deep longing for Caroline to genuine interactions with small but significant lives, immersing the audience in the narrative of 'LAIKA in B612'.
Through her agency, Park expressed her gratitude: "I sincerely want to thank the audience who have loved and visited 'LAIKA in B612' during this time. I am truly happy to greet you from the star named B612 until the very end." She also shared her deep affection for the work.
Moreover, she offered comforting words: "While it's a profoundly sad moment, let's not dwell on the sadness too much since we'll meet again. I believe that every goodbye leads to a new meeting. I hope we can share a warm farewell with smiles, looking forward to our next encounter."
Having successfully completed the musical, Park Jin-joo is now preparing for her next project.
