In the teaser video for the new SBS Life program 'The Queen of Taste, Kim Nam-joo,' released on the 12th, Kim Nam-joo shared her mindset about taking on a solo show for the first time in 31 years since her debut.
In the teaser, Kim Nam-joo appears radiating a spring vibe, introducing herself as "an actress, a mother, and a YouTuber."
When asked what she will show on 'The Queen of Taste, Kim Nam-joo,' she responded, "I might not have something specific to show, but I'll give it my best shot. Just being myself... that's what I've heard you're supposed to do. Otherwise, they say not to bother doing variety at all," she said with a playful tone.
Kim Nam-joo also expressed, "It was frustrating that people only remembered me for my strong image," adding, "In reality, I'm quite different. I thought showing those sides of me would improve communication with the world. I'd be grateful if you could watch with an open heart."
'The Queen of Taste, Kim Nam-joo' is a project where Kim Nam-joo shares everything about herself while also enhancing her taste, promising to reveal sides of her never seen before.
Kim Nam-joo's first solo variety challenge, 'The Queen of Taste, Kim Nam-joo,' will premiere on the 22nd (Thursday) at 8:40 PM. Ahead of the broadcast, content of the same name will also be released on Kim Nam-joo's YouTube channel at 11:45 AM on the same day.
