Actor Lee Do-hyun has completed his approximately 21-month military service and is officially discharged today.
Lee Do-hyun enlisted on August 14, 2023, and after completing basic military training, he diligently served his duty in the Air Force military band.
Even during his service, Lee made an irreplaceable presence in various fields. Notably, his debut film "Exhuma" reached an audience of 11.91 million, earning him the title of a "ten million actor."
Thanks to his performance in the film, he won the Best New Actor award in the film category at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards for "Exhuma." At the time, Lee stated, "I will return as actor Lee Do-hyun next May."

In addition to "Exhuma," the sequential release of the Tving original series "Death's Game," and Netflix original series "Sweet Home Season 3" showcased Lee Do-hyun's versatile talents.
Since his debut in 2017 with tvN's "Prison Playbook," Lee has consistently worked on projects such as "18 Again," "Sweet Home," "The Glory," and "The Good Bad Mother," building a solid filmography.
With Lee Do-hyun's discharge, there's heightened interest from fans and the industry alike. He is already receiving offers for various projects, from dramas and movies to commercials and photo shoots, making his next move highly anticipated.
Lee Do-hyun has been publicly dating Im Ji-yeon, whom he met through the drama "The Glory." With Lee's discharge, Im Ji-yeon's days of being a 'military girlfriend'―a term for women waiting for their partners to return from military service―have come to an end.
