On May 5th (local time), JENNIE attended the 2025 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, leaving a strong impression with her enchanting charm. Since 2023, JENNIE has proven her status as a global fashion icon by attending the Met Gala three years in a row.
As soon as JENNIE made her appearance on the red carpet, she immediately became the center of attention for the media. With her diverse expressions and poses, JENNIE amplified her elegant allure.
For this year's Met Gala theme, "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," JENNIE donned black suit pants paired with an off-shoulder black satin jumpsuit, showcasing her uniqueness. A two-tone fedora added a classic touch. Notably, JENNIE's Met Gala outfit was a masterpiece crafted by Chanel artisans, taking over 330 hours to complete.
JENNIE's attendance at the Met Gala once again swept global headlines. She was the only K-pop artist to be named 'Best Dressed at the Met Gala' by international media, including Harper's Bazaar and People. Harper's Bazaar lauded JENNIE as the 'Human Chanel,' comparing her appearance to something straight out of the movie 'Breakfast at Tiffany's.'
The Met Gala, held annually on the first Monday of May since 1948, is the largest fashion event in the United States and the world's biggest fashion fundraising gala. Each year, it features a specific theme and gathers celebrities from around the globe.
