On the 22nd, a representative from WNY agency stated, "Park Hae-rin is positively considering the offer to appear in 'Annoying Love'".
'Annoying Love' is a romantic comedy that tells the story of an actor specializing in detective roles who aspires to become a melodrama expert, and a political journalist who, after experiencing a certain incident, gets reassigned to the entertainment news department. Written by Jung Ye-rang, known for 'Doctor Cha ', the drama has confirmed the participation of actors Lee Jung-jae, Lim Ji-yeon, and Oh Yeon-seo. Park Hae-rin has been approached to play the character Ban Soo-jung.
Previously, Park Hae-rin's team announced that she was also positively reviewing an offer to star in the Netflix series 'Boyfriend on Demand'. 'Boyfriend on Demand' is a romantic comedy about a webtoon PD named Mirae, who, tired of her real-life struggles, subscribes to a virtual dating simulation to experience romance. The series has garnered attention with confirmed appearances by singer-actor Seo In-guk and BLACKPINK member and actress Jisoo.
Following 'Monthly Boyfriend', Park Hae-rin's potential involvement in 'Annoying Love', another project featuring top stars, has sparked interest in her career trajectory.
Before her acting debut, Park Hae-rin appeared on the JTBC audition program 'Mix Nine' in 2017, where she attracted attention for her resemblance to Olivia Hussey. After transitioning to acting, Park made her official debut in the omnibus LGU+ drama 'Tarot', which competed in the only French Cannes International Series competition last year. In this series, she played the role of Mingu, a snack bar employee who flirts with a delivery man named DEX, capturing attention with her stunning visuals and impressive acting despite her brief appearance. Subsequently, Park showcased her innocent charm in the LGU+ drama 'When the Silver Bell Rings', playing the young Soo-hyang.
Park Hae-rin made a global splash on Netflix's 'Single's Inferno 4', which concluded last February. Her Western looks and straightforward personality garnered global interest. Following her appearance on 'Single's Inferno 4', she received numerous offers from the advertising industry and the beauty and fashion sectors, leading to her being cast as the MC for season 2 of the KBS joy beauty entertainment program 'Review it!'.
