Ryu Soo-young, with his experience on the Peruvian giant squid boat, takes on the life-threatening challenge of catching a 'swordfish' in the vast Caribbean Sea. Known for its extreme difficulty, even seasoned anglers approach this fish with caution due to its long, sharp bill capable of piercing a human heart. Ryu Soo-young engaged in a tense 40-minute standoff with the swift swordfish, drenching himself in sweat and turning the boat into a chaotic scene. The MCs, witnessing the intense battle between Ryu and the powerful fish, were left speechless, likening it to a one-on-one showdown. Whether 'Master Ryu' will succeed in his swordfish quest remains to be seen on the show.
Additionally, 'Television Show Tough Guy' Lee Joon embarks on a life-risking hunt for Caribbean ingredients 'crayfish' and 'conch.' On this day, he teams up with 'Diving Pro' Kim Ok-bin for his first taste expedition, attempting free diving in foreign waters. Despite it being his first attempt, Lee Joon fearlessly dove into the Caribbean. However, his initial bravado was short-lived as he struggled with the high waves and currents, leading to a moment of panic as he gasped for air.
Reflecting on the experience, Lee Joon shared, "The high waves made my ears feel like they were going to burst. I felt like I was going to die, but I pushed through." The outcome of Lee Joon's first ingredient hunt and his 'taste expedition' success will be revealed for the first time on 'Caribbean Bob.'
