The actor communication platform 'Hiand' is opening the 'Yoo Eun-ho Lounge' from the drama 'Love Scout.'
'Hiand' is an actor communication platform launched in November last year. Upon its launch, it gained attention as actors Lee Jong-suk, Park Seo-joon, and Ji Chang-wook announced their join to engage with global fans. Since then, Hwang In-yeop, Woo Do-hwan, Byun Yo-han, Jinyoung, and Park Hyung-sik have joined, establishing it as a notable platform among domestic and international actor fandoms.
Yoo Eun-ho is the protagonist of the recently concluded SBS drama 'Love Scout.' In this romantic drama, Eun-ho (played by Lee Jun-hyuk) is the perfect secretary to Ji-yoon (played by Han Ji-min), the CEO of a headhunting company. Known for his professional skills, Eun-ho handles every task perfectly, efficiently, and with great attention to detail, truly embodying the perfect secretary.
'Hiand' has proposed to Lee Jun-hyuk, the star of the beloved drama 'Love Scout,' to play the character of Yoo Eun-ho within the platform. As the first character to be featured on 'Hiand' instead of himself, 'Yoo Eun-ho' will have his own lounge opening today (14th).
This is expected to offer a different kind of fun and actor interaction compared to what was presented by the previous 'Hiand.' By expanding from actor communication to character interaction, 'Hiand' plans to provide a new form of engagement in fandom culture, allowing direct interaction between drama and movie protagonists and viewers. This role-playing communication, where actors embody their characters, is anticipated to become a brand new cultural activity.
A representative from 'Hiand' stated, "The introduction of character interaction following actor-fan communication can be a gift-like experience for both existing actor fandoms and viewers who love the drama and its characters. We ask for your interest in this new attempt focused on providing 'fun' and 'enjoyment' for fans."
'Hiand' offers a close communication experience through its 'DM (Direct Message)' service, equipped with an automatic translation feature, allowing real-time interaction and connection from anywhere in the world. Additionally, it provides a community where fans and actors can engage in two-way communication through individual 'lounges' currently in operation.
As a space where actors and fans come together to share support, 'Hiand' is expanding its universe with content and characters, suggesting a new direction for global fandom communities.
