[SBS Entertainment News | Kang Sun-ae] V (real name Kim Tae-hyung), a member of the group BTS, has shared updates with fans as he approaches his military discharge in 99 days.

On March 3, V posted a lengthy message along with a photo of himself on the global fan platform Weverse.

With just 99 days left until his discharge, V, now a "sergeant," shared, "It snowed today. I cleared the snow. I had a snowball fight. I'm good at snowball fights," giving fans a glimpse into his daily life. He also mentioned, "I’ve been promoted to sergeant 2nd class. I’m now ranked 2nd here. Soon, I’ll be number 1. Recently, I became a special warrior," sharing his recent achievements.

He continued, "I’ve been working out hard. I ended up injuring my rib, but I’m back now. I’m currently on a diet and weigh 70 kg," providing updates on his health and recovery.

V also mentioned, "I’ve read a lot of books. (Kim) Ina gave me many books. She gave me too many. I can’t read them all," revealing that he has been reading while in the military thanks to songwriter Kim Ina's gifts.

He added, "I don’t have insomnia here. I just pass out as soon as I lie down," explaining that he isn’t struggling with sleeplessness in the military.

Notably, V expressed, "I miss ARMY (BTS's fandom) a lot, so I’ve been watching concert videos. I want to dance. I want to sing," showing his longing for fans and the stage. He also shared a cute anecdote, saying, "A junior told me he learned the choreography for 'Black Swan' and asked me to check it out. I forgot the choreography," admitting he has forgotten the dance moves.

V mentioned, "I’ve been watching 'Buried Hearts' lately. Park Hyung-sik looks great," indicating that he is keeping up with the SBS drama starring his close friend Park Hyung-sik. V, along with Park Hyung-sik, Park Seo-joon, Choi Woo-shik, and singer Peakboy, are known as the "Wooga Family," a group of close friends in the entertainment industry.

He also shared, "I watched Jung Ho-seok's 'I Live Alone.' I’m a fan of Jung Ho-seok," sending a supportive message about his fellow member J-Hope's appearance on the variety show. He added, "I’m really sad I couldn’t go to the concert. It was a chance to see ARMY," expressing his disappointment about missing J-Hope's concert held last weekend.

Meanwhile, V enlisted in the military in December 2023 and is currently serving in the Military Police Special Operations Unit (SDT). He is set to be discharged on June 10.
