Actor Kim Soo Hyun indirectly denied romance rumors linking him to actress Kim Ji Won.

"Lol, please see that a TV drama is just a TV drama.", Kim Soo Hyun said in his reply to a fan's message on an online star-fan communication platform on January 24.
The fan's message that prompted Kim Soo Hyun's response was a request that he should publicly announce his relationship with Kim Ji Won, assuming that they are in one.

"Please marry Ji Won fast and start lovestagramming (posting photos hinting at a romantic connection). Go public with your relationship and flaunt your love more than you now do. Let the world know that you love each other very much and only have one another."

"You better hurry up and declare that Ji Won unnie is yours. Nobody else is as gorgeous and lovely as her, so you must hang on to her and not let go. Please, please get married. Please get married, you two. Kim Ji Won is Kim Soo Hyun's wife; Kim Ji Won's husband is Kim Soo Hyun.", the fan wrote.
Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won played a married couple in tvN's television series 'Queen of Tears', which ended in April last year.

Months have passed since the series concluded, but many fans still hope to see the two actors' on-screen romance blossom into a real-life romance.

Following an overseas fan meet-up event, Kim Soo Hyun uploaded four pictures of himself to his Instagram account, then quickly erased some of them.

Some speculated that the two stars were 'lovestagramming' as the photos Kim Soo Hyun deleted had similarities to Kim Ji Won's Instagram post a few days before him; they both wore similar clothes and did some similar poses.
