Singer BIBI is returning with a new track that captures the essence of summer.
BIBI will release her new single 'BUMPA' on the 20th at 6 PM. 'BUMPA' was first unveiled at her solo concert 'Would You Please Come?' in 2023 and has since drawn explosive reactions from audiences at every stop of her world tour, with fans consistently requesting an official release.
The original track is based on an Afrobeats style and was loved for its high-energy atmosphere that allowed BIBI and her audience to jump and dance together during live performances. This released version has been rearranged with a band sound to fit the summer season, delivering a cooler and more liberated vibe. The lively sound, reminiscent of an actual live performance, is also raising expectations.
For this single, BIBI once again showcased her 'all-rounder artist' capabilities by participating in the overall production, including songwriting, composing, concept planning, visuals, and video directing. However, unlike her previous intense and narrative-driven concepts, 'BUMPA' stands out as a track that anyone can comfortably enjoy in a relaxed, natural atmosphere.
Her agency stated, "'BUMPA' is a song where you can most intuitively feel BIBI's signature free-spirited energy and summer vibe," adding, "It is a work that captures the charm of a live performance where she breathes together with the audience."
