Comedian Lee Sang-hoon (44), beloved as a "kidult comedian," has shared a heartwarming act of kindness in celebration of Children's Day.
Lee recently donated 20 million won, proceeds raised through a charity auction, to the Seoul Children's Hospital. The donation was made to support pediatric patients in honor of Children's Day.
Notably, Lee has been consistently participating in charitable activities by making donations for children with pediatric cancer every Children's Day since 2019.
As news of his donation spread, many responded with warm support, leaving comments such as, "His consistent giving is even more impressive," "This will be a great strength to the children," and "A truly wonderful adult."
Lee debuted as a comedian in the 26th KBS open recruitment and gained immense popularity through segments like "Niggle Niggle" on KBS2's "Gag Concert." Recently, he has been actively engaged not only in television appearances but also in running his YouTube channel, "Lee Sang-hoon TV," which focuses on kidult and toy review content.
Launched in 2018, "Lee Sang-hoon TV" grew through word-of-mouth for its figure and toy review content. Lee is known as a famous kidult enthusiast, having already owned over 100 million won worth of figures and collectibles when he started his YouTube channel. The channel currently boasts nearly 600,000 subscribers and continues to enjoy steady popularity.
