Broadcaster Park Soo-hong, alongside his daughter Jae-yi, has partnered with a Baby Box organization to provide ongoing support for children in care and infants in crisis.
On April 16, the father-daughter duo visited the Jusarang Community Foundation in Seoul, which operates a Baby Box, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Chairman Lee Jong-rak. The agreement focuses on supporting children in care, protecting the lives of infants in crisis, assisting single-mother households, and spreading awareness regarding the respect for life.
This partnership began through the charitable activities of Agneau Company, a handmade children's shoe brand. Agneau Company donated infant clothing, accessories, and handmade shoes to the Baby Box in June 2024, followed by additional support in September of the same year. Park Soo-hong and his daughter, who are currently serving as models for the brand, joined the cause, leading to this formal agreement.
In particular, ahead of Children's Day, the father and daughter shared their warmth by providing handmade shoes to 107 single-parent households. This donation will not be a one-time event but will expand into long-term social contribution. Park plans to continue activities that provide practical help to the daily lives of children in need through the "Jae-yi Project," named after his daughter.
Park Soo-hong stated, "Raising Jae-yi has made me look at the children around me with more attention. I hope this serves as a small gift for children who need beautiful shoes for Children's Day."
Agneau Company also remarked, "We joined this project with a heart that respects the existence of every single child. We will continue our support, focusing on handmade shoes that consider the foot health and comfort of growing children." They added, "Moving forward, we will continue various forms of donation activities every year and every quarter with Park Soo-hong and his daughter to expand our role as a responsible brand for children and families."
Meanwhile, through this agreement, Park Soo-hong, his daughter, and the Jusarang Community Foundation plan to continue various collaborations not only for supporting children in care but also for protecting the lives of infants in crisis, assisting single-mother households, and raising awareness on these issues.
